Terms of Use

Last updated: 19 August 2026

These are the rules for using AwareCampus, for students, college staff, and visitors. They are written in plain language, and they are still binding.

Agreement

By accessing or using AwareCampus, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

These Terms apply to students, college staff, and visitors. Partner colleges may also have a separate pilot or institutional agreement with AwareCampus.

What AwareCampus is

AwareCampus helps colleges run privacy-first awareness programmes. Students get a private way to learn about health, safety, wellbeing, and related topics.

The platform is for learning and campus programme support only. It is not a medical service, clinic, counselling service, or emergency helpline.

Accounts and access

You must provide accurate registration details and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.

College staff access is limited to authorised institutional use. Students may join through independent registration or a college invitation, as offered by the platform.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated, or to protect users, colleges, or the platform.

Acceptable use

Use AwareCampus only for lawful, educational purposes. Do not attempt to access another person’s account, scrape or overload the service, reverse engineer the platform, or interfere with security or privacy controls.

Do not post or transmit content that is abusive, harassing, illegal, or that attempts to identify someone who asked a question anonymously.

Do not use the platform to collect health data we never ask for, such as HIV status, test results, or sexual history. Do not misrepresent certificates or completion status.

Certificates and verification

Certificates are issued only after the stated course requirements are met, including any required assessment threshold. They confirm educational completion on AwareCampus. They do not confirm clinical competence, employment fitness, or health status.

Public certificate verification is provided so third parties can check that a code is genuine. Misuse of verification pages or forged codes is prohibited.

Content and intellectual property

AwareCampus content, branding, software, and materials are owned by AwareCampus or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may use the platform for personal learning or authorised institutional programme delivery. You may not copy, redistribute, sell, or create derivative works from platform materials except as we expressly allow in writing.

Educational disclaimer

Content is for awareness and education. It does not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatment, or replace advice from a qualified clinician, counsellor, or public-health professional.

If you need urgent help, contact local emergency services or a trusted health provider. AwareCampus is not monitored for crisis response.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AwareCampus and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or opportunity arising from use of the platform.

The platform is provided as is and as available. We do not warrant uninterrupted access or that content will meet every institutional or regulatory requirement without your own review.

Privacy

How we collect and use personal data is described separately in our Privacy Policy. By using AwareCampus, you also acknowledge that policy.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised Last updated date. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory protections that apply to you under applicable law.
